Not working

Patients

Patients know when. Without a call.

A confirmation with the address and a calendar file, an update if it moves, and a reminder the day before for appointments booked more than eight days ahead.

The Agent

Or just ask.

Type the request the way you would say it. The Agent finds the free times and prepares the booking. You press Book.

Also in the calendar

The rules your practice runs on.

  • Appointment types

Default durations, and the people who perform each type.

  • Practice rules

Hour blocks, performers, locations and rooms, switched on when you need them.

  • Repeating appointments

A custom repeat books the whole series. A later change asks whether it applies to one, the following or all.

  • In the patient's language

Patient emails go out in the language each patient prefers, one of seven.

  • Clash warnings

Shown in the editor before anything is booked.

Questions about scheduling

Pricing
How does Salisan know which times are free?

It reads each person's active availability, the bookings already in the calendar, the appointment type's duration and, if your practice uses them, rooms, performers and hour blocks. Suggested times land on your practice's time grid, so what you see is a time you can book.

Who sets the working hours?

Each clinician, in their own availability profile: weekly hours (more than one range a day if needed), a time zone, and date overrides for leave, days off or exceptional hours. They can keep several profiles and switch the active one.

What happens if a time clashes?

The editor warns you before you book: another booking at that time, time outside working hours, unavailable time or a room already in use. You read the warning and decide.

Does the Agent book appointments on its own?

No. Ask the Agent for a time and it looks for free times and prepares the booking on a card: the day around it, who it is with and the email the patient will get. Nothing is booked, moved or cancelled until you press the button.

Do patients hear about their appointment?

Yes, by email, when you have their address and they have not opted out: a confirmation with the address and a calendar file, an update when it moves, a note when it is cancelled, and a reminder the day before for appointments booked more than eight days ahead. To change a time, patients reply or call you.

Can we book a series of appointments?

Yes. A custom repeat books the whole series, every few days, weeks, months or years on the weekdays you choose, ending after the number of appointments you set. A later change asks whether it applies to that appointment, the following ones or all of them.

Where is our data stored?

Patient records of clinics in Europe are stored in Germany.

What does scheduling cost?

The calendar is part of every Salisan plan, together with clinical records and the Agent. The plans are on the pricing page, or book a demo and we will walk you through them.
