Salisan

Home

See today's appointments, the work waiting on you and the state of the practice in one place.

Home is the page Salisan opens on. It shows your day and the work that is waiting for you, then the practice as a whole if your role covers it.

Home adapts to your permissions. A section you cannot act on is not shown, so two colleagues can see different pages.

Read your day

A row of buttons under the greeting starts the common jobs: Book appointment opens the calendar ready to book, New patient opens the quick registration (see Patients), New task opens the full task form and Ask the Agent opens the Agent. A button is missing when your role cannot do that job.

The lines under the greeting summarise your day: appointments today and the time of the next one, visits to sign, tasks (with the overdue count) and items waiting on your patients. Most phrases link to the page behind them. If nothing is open, the line says Nothing is waiting on you.

Brief me appears when you can use AI features. It opens the Agent with a request to prepare your daily brief. The Agent drafts it; you decide what to do with it.

My day lists today's appointments in time order, with a marker for the current time.

  1. Find the appointment. A patient with an open visit shows Open visit.
  2. Choose Start visit to begin a visit for this contact and open its note. The button is always visible on your next appointment. On later ones it appears when you point at the row.
  3. Choose Open calendar for the full calendar.

Finished appointments fold into a count so the next patient stays in view. Recently opened at the bottom lists patients you opened lately.

Clear what needs you

Needs you leads the page. It is one list in urgency order: late work first, then anything critical, then the oldest unsigned visit. Each row is tagged Task, Sign or Alert, and its action is Open, Sign or Review.

  • Sign opens the visit note. Read To sign before you sign.
  • Alert rows are news, not work. A row opens what the alert is about. Home does not mark alerts read. Choose Open inbox in the Needs you header to read and clear them in Notifications.
  • A line such as To sign (4) or Tasks (6) appears when more is waiting than the list shows. It takes you to the full page.
  • Open the pool appears when unclaimed team tasks match your capabilities.

Review home readings

Home readings collects new readings that patients sent from home, one row per patient, in the order they arrived. The row shows the readings and a count such as "2 new". Choose the row to open the patient's vitals and compare with earlier values.

Choose Mark reviewed when you have looked at the readings. This completes the review task and records who reviewed it and when.

Salisan does not rank or colour readings. A reading waits because it arrived, not because of its value. You decide whether any reading needs follow-up.

See the practice

Further sections appear for people who run the schedule or the practice.

  • The practice today shows each clinician's booked and free time and the next free slot, plus exceptions such as double bookings, no-shows, bounced confirmations and unassigned appointments. Each exception has an action such as Fix, Fill, Rebook or Assign. It needs permission to manage other members' calendars, or the calendars in your teams.
  • Dispatch lists unclaimed tasks by the capability they need, with Assign. It needs permission to assign tasks.
  • Waiting on patients is one line, such as "3 waiting on patients", with the age of the oldest item. It counts forms, requests, check-ins and vitals sent to patients and not yet answered. Choose the line to unfold the items, oldest first, and choose an item to open that patient's requests. The practice-wide count needs permission to send email, forms and requests.
  • Practice lists practice-level items that need attention and links to Communication, Compliance, People and Settings.

Finish the opening week

New members see a chip beside the greeting, such as Setup 1 of 4. Choose it to open the checklist. The practice owner sees Opening week (invite your team, check working hours, set up patient communication, add the first patient). Other members see Your first week (add a photo, check working hours, secure the account with two-factor).

A row is ticked only when the work is really done, so a tick is a fact, not a click. The chip disappears when every row is done. Dismiss in the checklist puts it away earlier.
